- Anna Maria Island
- Beer Can Island, Longboat Key

- Clam Pass Park, Naples
- Bahia Honda State Park, Big Pine Key
- Phil Foster Park, Riviera Beach
- Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota (TikTok Followers decided)
- Opal Beach, Pensacola
- Rock Springs Kelly Park, Apopka (some would disagree that this isn’t a beach)
- Hobe Sound Nature Center Beach, Hobe Sound
1. Anna Maria Island
Ever since I went viral on TikTok I’ve been dreaming of visiting Anna Maria Island on the west coast of Florida. The island is dreamy! The sand is finer than sugar and the water is crystal clear and tropical. Bean Point on Anna Maria Island is harder to get to making it one of the least crowded beaches on the island.
2. Beer Can Island, Longboat Key
Beer Can Island is located at the tip of Longboat Key. You do not need a boat to access this area. This area is just south of Coquina Beach. Heading south on 789 you will cross over the bridge to Longboat Key. Take the first right onto N Shore Rd and drive all the way down to the end. As always parking is super limited so I would suggest visiting on a weekday to avoid the crowds and hopefully you’ll get a spot. It’s important to note that there are technically two Beer Can Islands in the area. The other one is located near Tampa Bay on Pine Key.
3. Pay Beach, Fort Pierce Inlet State Park (new to most of you, but it’s definitely worthy of the best beaches in Florida 2023)
Pay Beach is one of the best beaches in Fort Pierce. I posted a video on my TikTok asking people to guess what beach it was and people guessed Clearwater, Anna Maria Island, and even DESTIN! So that is why it is on the best beaches in Florida 2023 list! It was so funny because those beaches have been voted the best beaches in Florida. That just means Fort Pierce is right up there with them. I was shocked myself when I first saw the beautiful blue, emerald greenish waters.
4. Clam Pass Park, Naples
Last summer I was scrolling through Instagram and Google (how I find out about places I want to see) and I came across this beautiful drone shot of Clam Pass Park in Naples, Florida. As soon as I saw it, I knew I needed to visit this beautiful beach. I drove across the state (Florida is skinny so it only took about 2.5 hours!) with my two young daughters and explored Naples for the weekend.
The address is 465 Seagate Dr, Naples, FL 34103. To get to this area of the beach, first you must park, make sure to pay otherwise you will get ticketed, and then you can take the golf cart to the beach. You can also walk the boardwalk, but it’s at least a 20-30 minute walk if not more. I believe the golf cart service is operated by the Naples Grand Beach Resort at Clam Pass Park. They have a bar on the beach with food and drinks, bathrooms and a shower.
Once you get down to the beach walk all the way to the right and you will reach this beautiful inlet area, with crystal clear blue water. It was the perfect spot for me and my kids. The water was nice and shallow and clear.
5. Bahia Honda State Park, Big Pine Key
Located in the Florida Keys, Bahia Honda State Park boasts stunning beaches, clear waters, and excellent opportunities for snorkeling and swimming.
6. Phil Foster Park, Riviera Beach (my local beach and will always make the list of Best Beaches in Florida 2023, etc.)
So many people would disagree, but this is one of the best beaches in Florida 2023. Phil Foster Park is a popular beach destination located in Riviera Beach, Florida. While not as well-known or expansive as some of the larger beaches in Florida, Phil Foster Park offers a unique experience and has its own charm. The best time to explore this beach is 2 hours before and after high tide. This is when the water will be its clearest. To check the tide levels, click here.
7. Siesta Key Beach, Sarasota
Known for its powdery white sands and clear turquoise waters, Siesta Key Beach consistently ranks among the best beaches in the United States.
8. Opal Beach, Pensacola
Pristine Sandy Shoreline: Opal Beach boasts a wide and pristine sandy shoreline, with soft white sand and clear turquoise waters. It offers ample space for beachgoers to spread out and enjoy the sun.
Facilities and Amenities: Opal Beach offers convenient amenities such as restrooms, picnic areas, and showers, making it comfortable for visitors to spend a day at the beach. It also has ample parking available.
9. Rock Springs Kelly Park, Apopka
Rock Springs in Kelly Park is one of the most beautiful spots I have ever visited in Florida! This beach is located about 30 minutes north of Orlando and it is a hidden gem. Crystal clear tropical-looking water in the middle of the woods! We tried to visit Rock Springs for my birthday, but apparently, you need to arrive super early in order to get in. We got to Kelly Park around 11:30 am on a Friday, but the gates were closed. A police officer was blocking the entrance and will not let you in. We ended up booking two nights at the Kelly Park Campground in April. This was the perfect idea because we didn’t have to worry about getting a spot and the campground is within walking distance to the springs.
10. Hobe Sound Nature Center Beach, Hobe Sound
The best beach in Hobe Sound Florida is located at the Nathaniel P. Reed Hobe Sound National Wildlife Refuge. This place is a hidden gem. Once you walk down a flight of stairs on one of the sand dunes, you will reach a very private beach with white sugar sand. It’s one of my favorite beaches to take my two young kids to. When the tide is low, the waters are clear and shallow exposing the sea life, but it’s best to go during high tide when the water is at its clearest.
