Ever since I went viral on TikTok I’ve been dreaming of visiting Anna Maria Island on the west coast of Florida. The island is dreamy! The sand is finer than sugar and the water is crystal clear and tropical. Bean Point on Anna Maria Island is harder to get to making it one of the least crowded beaches on the island.
How do I access Bean Point?
Bean Point is located at the northern tip of Anna Maria Island on the west coast of Florida. My family and I visited this beautiful spot in September 2022. The only sign that marks the entry point is below, as you can see, it’s tiny and easy to miss. It’s about a 20 minute walk from where you park to the beach so bring a wagon or pack light.
Where do you park for Bean Point?
The GPS will take you to the entrance and you will be confused as to where you should park. We found the sign for the beach, but didn’t find any parking nearby and felt defeated and almost left! But I am not one to be defeated, when I have a will I will 100% find a way haha. We turned around and found parking on the side streets near the entrance. There are signs as to where you can and can’t park, and make sure your wheels are completely off of the road otherwise you’ll end up with a ticket like we did.
Is Bean Point Beach Crowded?
Nope! This beach doesn’t have a big sign highlighting where the beach is, the sign is very obscure and easy to miss. It doesn’t have its own parking spots, and there’s a long trail down to the water. All of these factors make it harder to get to making it an uncrowded beach on Anna Maria Island.
