Does North Palm Beach Have A Beach?
Yes! Lakeside Park in North Palm Beach Florida is a hidden gem. A beautiful white sugar sand beach lined with seagrape trees is the perfect beach for kids in Florida. The tide determines the water quality, we like to go when the tide is going out, so an hour or 2 after high tide.
I have been visiting this beach with my girls for the last 5 years. If you’re looking for a kid friendly beach in Palm Beach County you need to visit this one. Parking is limited to about 30 spots, there are no bathrooms. If you’re planning on visiting on a weekend make sure to get there early, around 10am! The water is nice and shallow and mostly clear, which is why this is one of the best beaches for kids in North Palm Beach.
Lakeside Park in North Palm Beach Florida is one of the best beaches for kids in South Florida. Make sure to check the tides before you go. During high tide the water covers most of the beach and since there’s a lot of boat traffic in the channel this can bring the water up even higher. This is a great beach for kids because the water is mostly clear and shallow. I would suggest packing a lunch especially if you arrive early, you’ll soon realize you will want to stay awhile! Pack you beach wagon with sunscreen, towels, floats, water, snacks, and a change of clothes for the little ones. Here are some of my favorite beach necessities.
