If you want to experience Phil Foster Park in all of its glory you need to go during HIGH TIDE!! The parking lot fills up SUPER quickly especially if high tide is during a good time on the weekend. I was there on a Thursday at 10:30am in the morning and the parking lot was full. Phil Foster Park tides change everyday depending on the position of the moon.

Phil Foster Park Tides can be found in the tables above . If you’re planning a trip here make sure to arrive at least 2 hours before high tide, maybe even more if you’re coming on a weekend in order to get a parking spot.
Can you swim at Phil Foster Park?
Yes yes yes! Swimming at Phil foster is amazing, but only during high tide. The water is super clear and there are all kinds of sea creatures! It was voted one of the best dive spots in the world in 2013. Phil Foster Park is the best beach in Florida for kids. I take my two young daughters there every chance I get.

The park is located at 900 Blue Heron Blvd, Riviera Beach, FL 33404. If you’re heading east towards Singer Island on Blue Heron Blvd you will drive over the Blue Heron Bridge and take a left at the first light.
How deep is the water at Phil Foster?
During high tide the water is calm and clear with occasional waves from boat traffic. It’s the best beach for kids in families in Florida because of this. The water levels near the shore are super shallow and as you go out further range anywhere from 6 to 10 feet.
Are there sharks at Phil Foster Park?
This snorkeling site is know for it’s variety of sea creatures, which is why it was voted the best place in the world to dive in 2013. Hammerhead sharks have been spotted at this park.
